Another Blessed word of encouragement from John
John delivered the message of endurance last evening very apt in these days, as we see gross darkness covering the whole world.
It is our duty to be prayerfully concerned, and when sorrow and grief strike in our lives, not to throw in the towel but to endure to the end.
I gave a testimony as I often do on the Joy of the Lord that wells up inside, it is such an important part of Christian Life no matter what comes against us always keep that Joy it is of the Lord.
Jesus endured the cross for the joy that was set before Him, it empowers us David Cried out Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:12 ESV (English Standard Version)
if you have lost it get it back it helps you and strengthens you in the inner man to press forward to the high calling giving you strength to endure to the end. Stephen had it as he was being stoned to death saying I see the heavens opened and Jesus Standing at the right hand of God, saying lay not this sin to their charge. so look at endurance as a joy, the athlete runs better with a joyful heart than with a wearied heavy heart the motocross endurance trials are better when you are enjoying it. So even during enduring sorrow you can have that heavenly inner joy. Make sure you get it, by submitting All your life to Christ, the Author and finisher of our Faith.
I am so undeserving of Gods love, that is why I love Him so much, and the life that I now live I live by his Grace, His Love and His Mercy, less than the least of all I have surrendered to Him who loves me and laid down His life for a wretched man like me. Now I am blessed with an amazing Joy and Peace that does not come from this world.
Paul spent much of His Christian Life in chains yet he talks of Joy unspeakable and full of Glory. It is the real deal.
Surrender all to Jesus He is Faithful and Just and a rewarder of all who diligently seek Him. Ask Him for a Willing spirit, put aside Pride and Self and hand the reins of your heart to Jesus, you will be amazed where he takes you.
Opposition will come but He is the Good Shepherd who leads you through all the storms of life safely and victoriously spreading a table for you in the presence of the opposition. He Never Fails!
